BMW Repair Round Rock

At Mario Motorsports, it’s our business to help your BMW stay in top shape for years to come. From routine oil changes to troubleshooting and more complex repairs, we use state-of-the-art tools and technology to make sure your vehicle gets the quality repairs and maintenance that it needs. Whether you’re worried about a noise that you can hear or you need to schedule routine maintenance, here are the most common services that we offer.

Oil Changes

An oil change is essential for any vehicle to keep it performing at its best, but it’s an especially important service for a performance car like a BMW. Your BMW should have its oil changed approximately every 3,000 to 5,000 miles, but one of our mechanics can determine a precise oil change schedule based on your driving environment, the car’s age, and its mileage. Along with knowing when to bring your car in for service, it’s also good to know what kind of oil your model uses. At Mario Motorsports, we use only the exact oil that your motor requires, and don’t settle for anything that’s “near” the qualifications for your motor. After all, oil changes could maintain your motor’s performance throughout the years!

Inspection and Maintenance Service

An oil change is just one of many services that you’ll need for your BMW. You may be familiar with the “30-60-90” benchmark in the auto industry, which means that you need to bring your car in for inspection at 30,000 miles, 60,000 miles, and 90,000 miles. Some dealerships also recommend having your BMW checked out at 15,000 miles and 45,000 miles. Prior to 30,000 miles, your car may have its air filter and fuel filter checked. At the 30,000-mile service point, your car will have its oil changed if necessary. The shocks may be replaced if they’re worn out. At 60,000 miles your car’s brakes will be checked for wear. If you have a manual transmission, the transmission fluid will probably be replaced at this point, too. You’ll probably also get a transmission system flush. At 90,000 miles the hoses, power steering fluid, timing belt, and spark plugs will probably be replaced. Car Gurus offers a comprehensive guide to what should happen at each mileage point so that you can be an informed customer.

Engine Troubleshooting

Whether you know something is wrong because the “check engine” light comes on or your car is acting up, we can help you out. Using industry-leading equipment, we’ll hook your BMW up to a computer to determine why the engine light is illuminated. We will also listen to your car’s symptoms to determine what’s wrong with the engine, such as an engine that runs rough, noises coming from the engine area, a drop in gas mileage, and a loss of power. Whatever the problem, you’ll want to get it fixed as soon as possible before the problem worsens and either leaves you stranded on the roadside or ends up costing more for repairs.

Clutch and Transmission Repairs

If you drive a manual, you will need to have the clutch replaced at least once during your car’s lifetime. The clutch generally lasts for about 60,000 miles. Sometimes, your driving habits and driving environment can cause the clutch to wear out earlier. If you notice that the engine revs at low driving speeds, if you hear a grinding noise, or if the clutch pedal pulses or feels sticky when you step on it, it’s time to contact us for prompt BMW Repairs in Round Rock. It’s also a good idea to have the transmission checked when you bring your car in for clutch repairs or replacement, as a bad clutch can affect the transmission.

Braking System Service

With a high-performance car like a BMW, your brakes can wear out more quickly than they do for average vehicles. Therefore, it’s important to have the brakes checked whenever you come in for other routine services like an oil change or an alignment. The brakes may need attention if you hear a squealing or grinding noise when you step on the brake pedal. The brake light can also illuminate, which is a sure-fire indication that it’s time for a brake service. Even though you might not know what’s wrong with the brakes, you can bring your BMW to us for a thorough analysis and diagnosis. Still not convinced? Fluid Leaks

There are many types of fluid in your car, and they all have the potential to leak. The most common sign of a leak – no matter where it’s coming from – is a puddle that develops under the car when it’s parked. A fluid leak can also cause symptoms depending on where it’s coming from. Some of the most common fluid leaks are the brake fluid, transmission fluid, oil, and coolant fluid. It’s critical to have a leak corrected as soon as possible so that you don’t end up stressed out and unhappy somewhere with a broken down car. Dent and Wheel Repairs

Along with mechanical repairs and maintenance, we also offer aesthetic BMW Repairs in Round Rock. Over time, your car’s exterior, including the body and tires, can take a beating. Especially if you don’t select the proper tires for your car!  People opening their doors and hitting your car, you hitting the curb, golf balls bouncing off the vehicle and even hail damage from storms can take a toll on your BMW. Since we know you want your BMW to stay looking shiny and new, we offer dent removal services for the body of the car and the wheels to keep your ride looking fresh as ever.
